INDUSTRIAL OXYGEN GAS PLANT

VPSA OXYGEN GAS PLANT

The fundamental idea behind the JOG Waste vacuum desorption pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) oxygen generator is to use the disparity between the oxygen and nitrogen contents of the air to balance the amount of adsorption on the adsorbent and the property that the amount of adsorption increases with increasing pressure and decreases with decreasing pressure, thereby realizing the desorption process from the air. Oxygen enrichment separation. Once the air is compressed, the adsorbent is used to feed it into the bed. First, nitrogen is selectively adsorbed, and because there is less adsorption, oxygen is more abundant in the gas phase.In order to desorb the nitrogen components and achieve adsorbent renewal, the adsorbent bed is evacuated and depressurized once nitrogen has been adsorbed and saturated in it. To produce the desired oxygen-enriched product gas, the linked oxygen and nitrogen separation process can be carried out using two or more adsorbent beds and repeating the cyclic adsorption and desorption phases. The following industries can use PSA oxygen: the iron and steel industry (blast furnace oxygen-enriched coal injection iron making, electric furnace steelmaking with oxygen blowing, etc.);

the non-ferrous smelting industry (crude copper oxygen-enriched smelting, crude lead oxygen-enriched smelting, etc.); the chemical industry (oxygen-enriched fermentation, etc.); the environmental protection industry (pollution treatment, etc.); and the paper industry (oxygen bleaching, etc.)

The PSA oxygen plant is crucial to the medical, glass, fish, and other industries. Using the use of Pressure Swing Adsorption Technology, oxygen gas can be produced. To eliminate the need for oxygen cylinders, oxygen plants are built to manufacture oxygen gas on-site. As this plant is automatic, no such permit was needed to put it in the hospitals.

TECHNICAL FACTS

INDUSTRIAL PSA OXYGEN PLANT

FLOW RANGE

Up to 5 Nm3/hr. to 200 Nm3/hr.

DEW POINT

With a dew point as low as (-) 40°C, our PSA oxygen plant produces extremely dry gas.

OXYGEN PURITY

PSA oxygen generators can generate oxygen up to 93% to 95% pure, with the remaining portion being primarily a mixture of inert gases like nitrogen and argon.  Can be used in many industries including furnace enrichment and water purification, it might not be suitable for uses that demand 99% purity.

PRESSURE

Our JOG Waste PSA oxygen generators deliver oxygen at 5 kg/cm2g pressure at the outlet of the N2 buffer tank and can be used directly for many applications. We can also design the oxygen generators with a maximum of 8 to 10 kg/cm2g pressure at the outlet of the N2 buffer tank with any additional oxygen booster

We can also supply an additional booster for Cylinder filling at a high pressure of 150 kg/cm2g with standard accessories and spare parts for smooth running.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

PSA OXYGEN PRINCIPLE

Fully customized equipment is available as per customer requirement

Jog Waste two absorber towers packed with Zeolite Molecular Sieve (ZMS) & activated a compressed air at 30°C, and oxygen is produced as a product gas. The nitrogen-containing exhaust gas is released back into the atmosphere. The procedure shifts oxygen generation to the other tower through a changeover valve when the ZMS tower becomes saturated, allowing the saturated tower to go through regeneration by being depressurized and purged to atmospheric pressure. Through a PLC that is installed in the control panel, this procedure is ongoing. As a result, two adsorber towers automatically switch over to produce oxygen and regenerate it, guaranteeing that your process has access to oxygen gas at all times.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF PSA

The well-known and established Pressure Swing Adsorption method is used by PSA oxygen generators. Atmospheric air includes about 20-21% oxygen and the PSA method utilizes Zeolite molecular sieves to collect this Oxygen from the air. Oxygen at 93 to 95% is provided, while the nitrogen is absorbed by the molecular sieves and released by exhaust back to the atmosphere.

The PSA Oxygen Plant comprises two no’s of vessels filled with molecular sieves and activated alumina. One vessel is passed through with pure compressed air at 30°C to 30°C and oxygen is produced as a byproduct gas. The nitrogen-containing exhaust gas is released back into the atmosphere. As the molecular sieve bed becomes saturated, the process automatically transfers oxygen generation to the other bed and allows the saturated bed to regenerate by depressurizing and purging to atmospheric pressure. Consequently, two vessels continue cycling back and forth between producing oxygen and regenerating it, guaranteeing that oxygen gas is constantly available for your process.
