JOG Waste PSA Nitrogen Gas Plant separates the nitrogen in the ambient air from the other gases by utilizing the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology.
The Compressed, clean, and dry air is transferred to a molecular sieve bed during the PSA process, which allows nitrogen to pass through as a product gas and adsorbs other gases present in the air. The sieve releases the adsorbed gases to the atmosphere when the outlet valve is closed and the bed pressure recovers to ambient pressure. The bed will then be purged with nitrogen before fresh compressed air is introduced for a new production cycle. JOG Waste nitrogen plants feature two molecular sieve beds that alternately switch between the adsorption and regeneration phases to ensure a steady product flow. DEW POINT
Our JOG Waste PSA Nitrogen Gas Plant produce nitrogen gas that is extremely dry, with a dew point as low as (-) 80°C. We also provide measuring tools for online gas dryness detection if required.
NITROGEN PURITY
Using a straightforward PSA device, purity is immediately achievable between 98% and 99.999%. In order to achieve higher assured purity levels up to 99.9999%, we advise using our DX or Copper-DX versions.
PRESSURE

WORKING PRINCIPAL OF PSA OXYGEN GENERATOR
A portion or the entirety of the nitrogen will remain in the bed if a gas combination, such as air, is forced under pressure through a vessel containing an adsorbent bed of zeolite that attracts nitrogen more strongly than oxygen, resulting in an enriched oxygen content in the gas that exits the vessel. Regenerating the bed involves lowering the pressure, which releases the adsorbed nitrogen when the bed has used up all of its ability to adsorb nitrogen. The next cycle of creating oxygen-enriched air can now begin.

In the PSA process, two jars are filled with activated alumina and carbon molecular sieves (CMS). Nitrogen is produced as a gas as clean compressed air passes through one vessel. As the molecular sieve bed becomes saturated, the mechanism automatically transfers nitrogen generation to the other bed and allows the saturated bed to regenerate by depressurizing and purging to atmospheric pressure. Consequently, two vessels continue cycling in opposite directions for nitrogen production and regeneration, ensuring that nitrogen gas is always available for your process.
